Couch to 5k Week 4 – Holy Crap Breathing, Batman

So I just finished Week 3 and started Week 4, and I am not going to lie this week has been a struggle. Running for five minutes straight makes me want to curl up in a ball and cry, but I can’t do that. I know that the more I work at it that the better it will get. But in the mean time it doesn’t mean that I don’t want to quit. Because I finished the week late because well,  it seemed like everything was against me last week and I just couldn’t keep going.

But I have goals, and so badly do I not want to be a quitter.

Some things that I have been doing:

  1. Continued Couch to 5k
  2. Kept going to Krav Maga classes.
  3. Started one of my closest friends on her first week of Couch to 5k. (And I am happy to report that she loves it).
  4. Drank more water than anything else and I have mostly cut out those horrible energy drinks(mostly, I am working on it, like all of us I am a work in progress and not drinking one everyday is progress.)

So I would like to share a photo of what I currently look like:

This is me taken this week and I see so many things that I want to change, but I realize that these are going to have to be slow changes that come with time. I’m also red as hell, because I just ran 2.18 miles before this photo was taken. The plan is to share a picture every 5 weeks of what I currently look like. So on my Week 10 post look for another photo.

So keep on running and share with me some of the things that you are doing to keep in shape.

PS: I have no intention of weighing myself at all.
