I live in East Texas, and am definitely a southern girl and therefore not made for the snow. At all. Picture a hibernating bear. I am very similar to that, when it gets too cold I want to be under the covers and in a warm cocoon and allowed to sleep.
But as we all know we don’t always get what we want. The word just isn’t fair that way. So as a mom I did the next best thing. I took my kids to the park for a snow ball fight and then I got to hibernate.

It was a fun afternoon and even though I was shivering it was great for my kids to experience something that we only get like every five or so years. Thankfully.
