I think it is time we all start a petition to vote Mondays out and erase them and just forget about them altogether. Because today has not been the best Monday. And while I know it could have been worse and there are people who have it worse, it was just a rotten day all around.
I will just make a list of everything that happened before 9 a.m. that just made it suck:
- We woke up with no power! When my kid’s dad woke us up he said it had been out for two hours. (And on that note I need to remember to get new flashlight even though getting two kids ready for school and a dog ready to go to the vet via iPhone flashlight did actually work.)
- Kid got sick on the way to school, thankfully my parents live near the school so that I could leave him during our vet trip.
- Finally I get dog’s ball staples(exactly what I said, hyper puppy and neuter does not go well together) out at the vet and get the kid and head back home (hoping the power was back on) and then the dog gets car sick all over my sick kid!
- And then at home I get to clean dog vomit out of the back seat of my car in rain!
While I know it may not seem so bad it was just a lot for before 9:00 in the morning. Thankfully though the kid is well again, the car is clean, and the dog is fine and I can breathe!
I will add thank goodness we do not have to deal with the damn e-collar any longer. With a hyper puppy the thing is a weapon! The crazy dog would try to knock me over with it and knocked over all of the tables around the living room!
