School, reading, and new glasses…..

So the new semester started for me and I am very excited about this semester and cannot be more pleased about the classes I am taking. I am even taking Young Adult Literature and starting the semester out by reading The Giver by Lois Lowry pretty awesome, right?

Just this week alone I am sure I have read close to 500+ words and I think that the volume of reading that I am going to have this semester would be enough to make most people run the other way. But I am relishing in it and can’t wait. I also can’t wait for my sons to read some of the books that I am reading. I think they will like most of them. So look for a lot of updates on the books that I am reading this semester and of course check out my writing updates on my writing blog.

New glasses were even in order for the semester and let me just say that I needed them something bad and didn’t even realize it.

I really like them and the world is so much clearer.
