Instant Pot Sour Cream Pork Chops
 
Ingredients
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 Small Onion Cut Into Pieces
  • 4 Boneless Pork Chops
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Cornstarch
  • ½ Cup Sour Cream
Instructions
  1. Set Instant Pot to saute and add butter and onions. Cook onions until softened.
  2. Move onions to one side and add pork chops to brown. Season with salt and pepper as they brown.
  3. Turn off Instant Pot and add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce while scraping the browned pork chops from the bottom of the Instant Pot.
  4. Close Instant Pot and seal the valve. Choose manual and pick 9 minutes.
  5. After the cooking time is up do a natural pressure release for 5 minutes followed by a quick release.
  6. Remove the pork chops from the Instant Pot and cover to keep warm. Set the Instant Pot to saute and simmer the sauce for a few minutes and add the cornstarch to thicken.
  7. Switch off the Instant Pot and let it cool for a few minutes. Stir in sour cream.
  8. Serve sauce over the pork chops with either mashed potatoes or mashed cauliflower.
