Instant Pot Ravioli Recipe

As a kid one of my favorite things to eat was canned ravioli. It was just the best thing ever and I would eat it any chance that I got and my kids have been the same way growing up.

My tastes has changed, probably since my kids are older. Either the recipe changed or my tastes in food has matured some. The canned ravioli began to taste too sweet, and I’m sure you guys know which brand I’m referring to. The one with the chef of course.

So I decided to buy some frozen ravioli and make my own in my favorite kitchen toy.

Yes the  Instant Pot, a lot of my most recent recipes seem to evolve around it. Also should I point out how life changing the Instant Pot is?

Yeah, I’m serious. I see it as the best thing ever and I have less dishes to clean every night.

So here is how I made my ravioli.

I made this tonight, doubling the recipe, our family is 4 adults and 3 boys, ages 5, 8 and 11. Everybody really liked it, putting in my favorite recipes on Pinterest. I will have to try your other recipes. Thanks for this recipe!

Thank you for the easy, yummy recipe. Some things I did differently was to brown the sausage in a skillet only because it was easier to drain the grease, and use Monterey Jack cheese instead of Mozzarella because that’s what I had. It made enough for 4 good-size adult servings. I’m sure I’ll be making this often.

Hi Folks; I adapted this recipe a bit and we loved it. Brown meat the same, but just soak up
as much grease as wanted with paper towels and discard. Also add a cube of salt pork for
added flavor and brown with meat.
Next add 1 cup of beef broth and one cup of tomato juice . ( heat them in a microwave first)
Add ravioli on top and stir all together. It’s not necessary to completely cover the ravioli.
Steam pressure cook for 4-5 minutes. Release pressure carefully. Cover contents thoroughly with a jar of Alfredo sauce and steam another minute . You’re done.

  5. I buy raviolis from Costco, so it’s a huge size. What size did you use in this recipe?
